Born in Livingston, Erin graduated from Warren hills High School in 2006, her obituary says.
"Erin was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, singing, music, and poetry and being with her family," her obituary says.
"She enjoyed the outdoors, nature and cooking. She was a kind, compassionate and free soul who would light up any room with her smile, her laughter, and her vibrant personality."
She is predeceased by her father, William Van Note.
Erin is survived by her son, Talon Van Note; mother Colleen and step-father Dennis Schiller; sister Kelly Van Note (Ben Szper); brother Keenan Van Note (Ashley Capite), brother Evan Van Note (Kristen); boyfriend Bradley Hughes; and countless more relatives and friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Oct. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home in Washington.
A Mass of Catholic Burial will be Oct. 17 at 11 a.m., at the Conception Church in Annandale.
Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Donations for Talon can be made by check payable to Talon Van Note, and mailed to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W.Washington Ave., Washington.
